Counsellors offer support for your children and teens
Slow down and lets talk about youth anxiety

Hands to Heart Therapy

You bring the questions that keep you up at night, the racing thoughts that are hard to quiet, and the
overwhelm of
carrying so much
on your own

Hands to Heart Therapy

Children and teens don't always have the words to explain what they're feeling. Instead, they communicate through behaviour, play, emotions, and their bodies.

Are you looking for support for your child or teen to feel understood, connected and confident?

Your child or teen may benefit from counselling if they are experiencing changes in their behaviour or if you are noticing big emotions

Worry, anxiety or low self esteem following an accident or frightening event or  friendships challenges or bullying

Challenges regulating emotions, eating, sleeping or device use or isolation and/or avoiding friendships, school or loved activities.

After experiences such as loss, illness, medical procedures, bullying, family changes, accidents, or other overwhelming events, children and teens may begin to experience anxiety, emotional outbursts, withdrawal, sleep difficulties, or changes at school and home.

These are often signs that their nervous system is trying to make sense of something that feels too big to carry alone

Every child's story is unique, and therapy is always tailored to their developmental stage, personality, and individual needs.

My work is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and grounded in an understanding of how experiences are held in both the body and the nervous system. I integrate play, creative expression, mindfulness, somatic awareness, rhythm, and conversation to help children make sense of their experiences in ways that feel natural and supportive.

Children and teens often show us what they need long before they can explain it with words. Together, we gently build emotional awareness, resilience, confidence, and a stronger sense of safety within themselves and their relationships.

Parents and caregivers are an important part of this process. When appropriate, I work collaboratively with families to strengthen connection, increase understanding, and provide practical ways to support their child's emotional wellbeing outside the therapy room.

I believe healing happens through connection, safety, and play.

A Space Where Children and Teens Can Be Themselves

My goal is to create a warm, accepting environment where children and teens feel seen,
heard, and understood.

Healing doesn't happen by rushing difficult feelings away. It happens through safe relationships, curiosity, compassion, and the opportunity to experience that they don't have to carry difficult experiences on their own.

If you're wondering whether counselling might be the right next step for your child or teen, I invite you to book a complimentary consultation. Together we can talk about your concerns and explore how I may be able to support your family.

If your child or teen is finding life overwhelming, you don't have to navigate it alone. Reaching out for support can be an important first step towards helping them feel more confident, connected, and understood.
Whether you're noticing changes in their mood, behaviour, relationships, or emotional wellbeing, counselling provides a safe and supportive space where they can explore their experiences at their own pace.

I offer a complimentary consultation to discuss your concerns, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether we're the right fit for your family. Together, we can create a plan that supports your child's unique needs and helps them build the skills and resilience to thrive.

I look forward to supporting your family on this journey.
