I’ll meet you with a space to slow down and feel, tools to reconnect with your inner steadiness, and an invitation to meet yourself with greater compassion as we work through it together

I am Meghan Stewart a trauma-informed counsellor, somatic practitioner,
mama of four, cold plunger and someone deeply shaped by my own
lived experience within medical systems, caregiving, grief, and resilience.

Meeting others with CHD for emotional support

I was born with a rare congenital heart condition that significantly influenced my own journey balancing fears with self compassion.

My life has been deeply shaped by navigating congenital heart conditions, caregiving, grief, and resilience, and through both my lived experience and my work with children, families, and clients in school and medical systems,

I am drawn to supporting people in these areas in my practice.

  ♡

I work with a wide variety of clients who may be experiencing postpartum adjustment, identity exploration, gender-affirming journeys, chronic health conditions, medical trauma, anxiety, overwhelm, relationship changes, caregiving challenges, and
complex grief and loss.

This includes overdose and suicide bereavement.

Many of the clients I work with carry stories that are hard to put into words. They may be exhausted from always being the strong one, overwhelmed by caregiving responsibilities, navigating chronic illness or medical trauma, or
holding grief that exists
alongside love, hope, and everyday life.

Together, with my clients, we create space for healing, self-understanding, and meaningful change.  My approach is grounded in connection, curiosity, and respect for each person's unique story, helping them reconnect with their strengths while navigating life's challenges with greater clarity,
resilience, andself-compassion.

Meghan's expertise in pediatric medical trauma shows her exceptional dedication to supporting children and families during their most challenging moments. Her compassionate approach and deep knowledge make her a trusted leader in this specialized field.

Meghan offers something truly special in the world of counselling... Her deeply attuned, gentle presence is paired with both lived and professional experience, especially when it comes to helping folx navigate medical trauma. I so appreciate Meghan brings her heart, groundedness, and a deep respect for the stories clients carry. Her understanding of grief, chronic pain, and early medical experiences isn’t just theoretical, it’s truly personal
