‘Trauma, in some ways, is the resistance to grief. Genuine grieving is the opposite of trauma.’ Gabor Mate

Carrying Grief
and Loss

Grief lives not only in the heart and mind, but also in the body. Somatic work offers a gentle, embodied approach to healing and helping you reconnect with yourself, release what has been held inside, and find safety and presence amid deep loss. Through body-based awareness and mindful connection, we create space for the complexity of grief to move, shift, and integrate over time.

I come to this work both professionally and personally. Having experienced profound losses, including the recent death of my sibling to overdose, I understand how grief can feel layered, disorienting, and ongoing. My approach honors the individuality of each person’s process — allowing you to navigate loss in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and real.
