Hands to Heart Therapy

You bring the questions that keep you up at night, the racing thoughts that are hard to quiet, and the
overwhelm of
carrying so much
on your own
.

I’ll meet you with a space to slow down and feel, tools to reconnect with your inner steadiness, and an invitation to meet yourself with greater compassion as we work through it together

I am a trauma-informed counsellor, somatic practitioner, mama of four, cold plunger and someone deeply shaped by my own lived experience within medical systems,
caregiving, grief, and resilience.

Through my lived experiences and work with clients and families and children in the school and medical systems, I gravitate towards the following areas in my practice

Let’s Take Care of the Practical Pieces Together

Starting counselling can bring up all kinds of questions  including how much therapy costs, whether your extended health plan covers counselling, what insurance may reimburse, and how payment and receipts work. It’s completely okay to have questions before you begin.

At Hands to Heart Therapy in North Vancouver, BC, I want the practical side of accessing therapy to feel as clear, transparent, and manageable as possible. We can talk through the details together so you have a better understanding of what counselling may look like financially before deciding whether we’re the right fit.

The practical pieces matter, but so does the relationship. My hope is that you feel informed, comfortable, and supported from the very first conversation.

We schedule a short 15–20 minute video or phone call. This is a chance for you to share what is bringing you here, ask any questions, and most importantly, get a feel for what it’s like to work with me.

If it feels like a good fit for you, we’ll book your intake session.

Coverage varies between plans, so I encourage you to check directly with your provider to understand your individual benefits, reimbursement amount, and annual limits. If you’re unsure what to ask your insurance company, I’m happy to help you understand what information to look for.

Payment & Receipts

Payment is due at the time of your counselling session. Following your appointment, you will receive a receipt by email through Jane the booking system  that can be submitted to your extended health benefits provider or insurance company for reimbursement, where applicable.
